My Philosophy
Despite earning strong salaries, many nurses still live paycheck to paycheck. Not because they do not make enough, but because financial literacy was never taught. Think back to school. When did anyone teach you how to save, invest, or explain that retirement is not an age, but a number? More often than not, our money habits were shaped by family, environment, and survival, not strategy.
Without a plan, money becomes a constant source of stress instead of a tool for freedom, flexibility, and long term security.
At the same time, nurses are burning out faster than ever. Many feel stuck, wanting to cut back their hours or change direction, but afraid of falling behind financially. That pressure takes a real toll on mental health, physical health, and life outside of work.
My mission is to help nurses take control of their finances and reach work optional status sooner than they ever thought possible. With clarity and the right strategy, it is absolutely possible to work less, avoid burnout, and still stay on track for early retirement.
The sooner you begin, the sooner you create the freedom to design your life with intention and purpose.

Hello
Hey, I’m Jeremy, a San Diego based RN with 15 years of nursing experience, including over a decade in the ER. Today, I work part time as a nurse and as a Certified Financial Education Instructor, helping others see that part time work and even early retirement are possible through intentional saving and investing.
I became a Certified Financial Education Instructor in 2024 to help bridge the gap between healthcare and personal finance. My work focuses on teaching nurses how to take control of their money, build confidence around investing, and grow long term wealth in a way that supports the life they actually want.
I help nurses design a financial path that allows them to reduce their hours without falling behind on early retirement goals.
After reaching Coast FI myself, I made it my mission to help nurses break free from the paycheck to paycheck cycle and build a life where work is truly optional.
